Enjoy an evening of three one-act plays featuring the stars of The Loons Theatre Company.
You are the only person you have ever been alone with. And you have never met anyone when they’ve been alone. But we’re all alone in the same way. Stuck up the Alley is a funny and touching show about being alone. Joe Bennett tells the story of Tom Trevella the barman, who got stuck up an alley between The Volcano restaurant in Lyttelton and the fish shop next door. No one knew he was there. He was there all night. Alone. Almost.
‘Now ye Gods stand up for bastards.’
David Ladderman has turned the subplot of King Lear into stand-up tragi-comedy.
His bizarre take on Shakespeare will have you giggling in the aisles.
'Billy Connelly on acid and verse', wrote one recent critic.
World premier at the Nelson Arts Festival.
This new work by Joe Bennett follows on the back of Stuck up the Alley, Berlin Burlesque, The Butler and Happy Home Road.
The Butcher’s Daughter is a show about love, family and a butcher’s daughter, performed by the multi-talented Sophie Ewert. Sophie, as it happens, is a butcher’s daughter.
