Nelson Arts Festival 2009 was an outstanding success with 12 days of packed houses, sell-out shows and record attendance at theatre, dance and musical events.
 
Thank you for being part of our festival and the springtime buzz that it creates in our city. 

We'll be back next year, from October 14-25. See you then! The festival is the only regional festival to be held annually and is produced by the Nelson City Council as a celebration for locals and an added attraction for visitors. 

Meantime the fun goes on...with our fantastic Summer in Nelson programme. From the Canterbury Community Trust Lantern Celebration to the South Canterbury Finance Trolley Derby, with outdoor movies, buskers and much more in between. Check out the details at www.nelsonfestivals.co.nz
