Just for the littlies.

Pukeko Counts to TenIllustrator Helen Taylor and writer Ben Brown live with their two children and an ungrateful cat in an old yellow house in Lyttelton. Their books, such as Eel Dreaming, Fifty-Five Feathers and The Rainmakers, beautifully reflect our New Zealand flora and fauna. A Booming in the Night won the Picture Book Award at the 2006 New Zealand Post Children’s Book Awards, with the judges commenting that Ben’s lyrical text was suitably accompanied by Helen’s magnificent watercolours.
