From kapa haka to the classics – Westpac Red Square this year runs a week before Nelson Arts Festival: Monday 3 – Friday 7 October.

A prelude to this year’s Nelson Arts Festival, Westpac Red Square is a designated student stage at the top of Trafalgar Street where both primary and secondary students perform for the public.

Making the most of professional stage management and sound systems, Nelson’s students show us the fruits of months of rehearsals. Not just for parents, these performances will show you that the future of performing arts in Nelson is in very capable hands.

Westpac and the festival team are delighted to present this wonderful opportunity for kids to experience performing in public and for Nelsonians to enjoy the local talent. Come along in your lunch break and show your support for our wonderful young performers.
